Wow, isn’t this year going fast??? We have had lots of people coming into the library using our computers and also coming to ask for information & assistance.

We would like to thank Club Lemon Tree, for their very generous financial help to purchase new computers. We have them up and running along with a new printer/photo copier/ fax machine. They look great with our monitors that Tilligerry Lions helped us purchase last year.

We have installed Microsoft Office 2010 on our new machines with Windows 7 making it very user friendly.

More and more people are aware that we do photocopying and faxing and now we have our new multifunction centre it is even easier for our volunteers.

We are again able to keep our prices affordable, so why not pop in and access the internet or just use a computer to type up your life story.

Have you visited  tilligerry.com lately? There are lots of local news stories. Email anything you would like to add to tace@tilligerry.com (editor will have final say on what’s included)

TACE is a non-profit organisation, operated by a voluntary committee whose aim is to plan and conduct economical educational programs to meet the needs and interests of adults in the local community. TACE also works in co-operation with other organisations in developing Adult & Community Education programs.

Adult and Community Education has thrived on the Tilligerry Peninsula for over 20 years and residents from other nearby districts have been participants in our courses.  Our programs are publicised as widely as our finances will allow.

We provide the only public internet/computer access on the Peninsula that is open 5 days per week. We do this with the aid of a great team of volunteers. If you have some time available and you wish to volunteer, pop in and see Sue on a Thursday.

New residents in the area, wishing to link up with a regular Art or Craft group, should contact our Co-ordinator who will put them in touch with one of the many "Self-Help" groups operating locally.
